We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Food was excellent; and can highly recommended the cocktails! Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Not our first visit to Telford Hotel and actually the best so far they really have raised the bar in terms of food offer and accommodation. Treated better half to a spa treatment for her Birthday which she loved commenting on how helpful the staff where. Food offer in the Evening was good and a step up frpom last time we stayed and breakfast delious for a buffet styale offer.

Stayed there on a short golf trip to Shropshire. The Hotel was very clean and tidy and I used the pool and Sauna once. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choice aand in the evening you had the choice of a short or medium long menu. They have a excellent Trackman on site but I was a bit disappointed with the course. This may have been partly due to recent weather...very little rain

Good location, hotel and spa. Used the spa facilities and gym as well as receiving a treatment, all very good. (Will take my golf clubs next time!) Breakfast was good with plenty of choice as was the evening meal, either à la carte or from the bar menu. Staff were attentive and friendly. Room was clean and pleasant. Overall a very good stay and would certainly consider staying again.

Great location and if you enjoy walking it is easy to walk to Ironbridge Gorge from here. Friendly receptionist and restaurant staff. Clean room, comfy bed and very good food. Dinner was great and lots of choice from the buffet breakfast. Quiet room.

Good welcoming reception. Stayed for three nights, but only ate breakfast, which was a buffet style with a great choice of hot and cold food. Stayed in room 202 with great view over the Ironbridge gorge. The room safe wasn't working, but the room was close to the breakfast area and reception. The only down side is the room is close to function rooms which are noisy, but do finish at 11:30pm. The hotel facilities are very good and we used the pool on two occasions (towels, lockers, showers and changing rooms provided for free). We ate our evening meals out at the Half Moon inn, which is in a picturesque location in the Ironbridge gorge beside the river Severn. Great food with very reasonable prices for food and drinks. All in all it was a very pleasant and relaxing stay and definitely stay again.

Hotel is in a great location, near to Ironbridge, beautiful place. Hotel room was lovely, very comfortable, clean and spacious! Breakfast was lovely, good selection. We used the pool in the spa, it was really nice, loved it!. Good facilities, would definitely stay there again!

lovely room exceptionally clean and well presented. The staff of the hotel from Housekeeping to restaurant staff are charming. The vegetarian options at dinner and breakfast are of a high quality.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2024 and it was pleasing to note that it was every bit as good this time as it was then. Only the weather was not so good - and the hotel can hardly be faulted for that! The service was excellent - friendly and helpful and the air con worked very effectively. There is ample parking space and the restaurant is a very pleasant place to eat with a pretty good set of options to choose from. The place was clean and the bedroom was well up to my picky standards. The bathroom was similarly very well appointed and clean and the availability of a fridge to keep the water cooled was much appreciated. The hotel is, in my opinion, good value for money and the staff are a credit to the company. In short, I'll definitely stay there again when next I go to the Telford area.

Just a short break for a couple of nights but well worth it. Clean and comfy room, good food and really good staff - attentive and obliging - all of them. In particular, Archie served us well in the restaurant for a tasty evening dinner. We did have an issue with a pre booked massage which they were unable to deliver but that was through no fault of theirs. It related to a health issue of mine and well done for picking it up and being honest about it. Jack the spa manager was apologetic and not only refunded the massage but offered additional compensation for disappointment. If we come back to the area, we'll have no hesitation in returning.

We had a couple of nights at the Telford Hotel which allowed us to explore the Shropshire area. Our room was comfortable, clean and ideally suited our needs. All the staff we came across were friendly and always willing to help if required. We ate in the bar/restaurant on both evenings and the food was hot and tasty. The breakfast options are plentiful and there is something for everybody. Again the breakfast options we had were hot and tasty and couldn't really fault what was on offer. Overall, very pleasant stay and very good value for money. Would we stay again when visiting the area............absolutely!

On the whole, enjoyable, modern and clean. Staff attitude was very good. Black mould in shower of our room, 114. No decent ale in main bar but there was in the golf bar a 5 minute walk away. Had to wait a long time between meal courses, not enough staff at busy time which was not their fault. A good breakfast, (nobody serves Kippers any more). Restaurant food very good. Our second stay at the hotel and would go back again.

We had a lovely spa break at the Telford Hotel and Golf Resort. The meal in the evening was very nice and the service received from Archie made it a very nice experience.

I’ve been a member of the leisure club for about 3 years and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The staff always go the extra mile to help and are always friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I go to several classes and they’re all brilliant, all areas are always clean and well maintained and there’s always improvements being made. Couldn’t recommend enough!

We booked this hotel for a university reunion as it was centally located for everyone who was attending and offered eveything we were looking for in a venue. We each booked our own accomodation - we booked a "Classic King Room" with "lawn views". On arrival, we were allocated a very pleasant room but the view was of a brick wall and brick stairwell. I contacted reception and we were moved to a lovely room in Darby House with great views over a large lawn. I can only assume this was an upgrade and I was told, on collecting the keys, that everything in the room was complimentary (there was a mini fridge with wine, beer, soft drinks and water). We very much appreciated the move - thank you. We had booked dinner in a private room where we were able to play our own music and show old uni photos on a screen via a projector. The three course dinner was £48 per person and included coffee/tea (no decaf available) and mints. Disappointingly, despite the cost, the food was average at best and the bar prices were high (I understand that this was a hotel, not Spoons!). Breakfast was great with friendly staff and a good range of food and drink options. Overall, we had a great time - thank you - just can't believe it's 40 years since we started uni!

Food excellent. Bar - a bit expensive. Central London prices in Telford? Room cleanliness - Good BUT dust build up in the air con filter and clearly visible in the normal radiator. A burning dust smell from the A/C unit directed my attention to this. I am sure the cleaner cleaned whatever was on her schedule but somewhere cleaning a/c filters and radiators of dust has been omitted.

The staff were extremely helpful with all our requests. The golf course was in a very good condition.Breakfast was good as all food was hot. Rooms were clean and a very good shower unit. There was no noise from anywhere in the hotel.

Splendid location for a bridge holiday. Excellent function room, quiet bedroom, fantastic spa, delightful places to visit, ludlow,ironbridge, blisthill museum. Great bar area, good seating.

we were part of a car rally, 14 cars, 28 people. The hotel set aside dedicated parking for our cars, gave us breakfast and dining areas so we were all together and were very helpfull. the rooms were adequate and clean, bar was large enough to cope with 28 of us all wanting to be served at the same time although this was, understandably, a challenge for the bar staff. sadly we were not able to make use of the facilities due to our own busy schedule, but the location suited us so not too much travelling to local sights.

We had a 2 night break at The Telford Hotel. A lovely, modern hotel, the room was great and the food excellent. Friendly staff and very convenient for exploring the local area, we would happily stay again.
