Thoughtfully designed by renowned architects and avid golfers John Harris and Brian Griffiths, our 18 hole Championship course proves to be fun for golfers of all skill levels. The tree-lined course and strategic water hazards provide a challenge to seasoned players, and the scenery to make it your new favourite. Watch out for the signature 8th hole - a 382-yard par 4!

The course is divided into three distances. So there’s something for all abilities ranging from Black, the longest option, to Yellow which is around 6,000 yards and perfect for those with a lower handicap or looking for a more relaxing day.

Leisure club membership
I am a leisure club member and thoroughly enjoy the classes and the friendship that being a member brings. There is a variety of classes offered which help with my fitness. I would like to mention Audrey who happily looks after us in the changing room often having to open lockers when we have forgotten the key.
Friendly leisure staff.
Love the leisure centre, most of the staff are really friendly. Mike keeps everything clean in reception always cleaning the floor or tidying up.

Excellent hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff delivered a very enjoyable short break We can certainly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay to explore Ironbridge and it's surrounds
Solo visitor
It was all very nice and clean, they had made my stay comfortable. I was due to stay two nights but unfortunately I had a family emergency because I hadn't paid for the extra to get a refund if needed, I lost over £100, I even asked if I could have a voucher to come back but they weren't willing to do that. What i saw of the hotel was pleasant
pleasant stay
pleasant room, not too keen on the dark furniture, nice size tv, well positioned. plenty of storage. good refreshment tray, stored nicely on a pull out shelf, but please do not leave water in the kettle! Also a safe, hairdryer, iron. Extra bedding and towels in wardrobe. Bath towel could do with being bigger - bath sheet would be better. Nice clean, compact bathroom, shower could be a little temperamental, would run cold whilst showering but a little twist on the controls brought it back up to temperature. Heated towel rail not really much use unless you were quite tall or stood on the toilet, you would struggle to put your towel on it to warm it. Although there was no view, just the building opposite, the window did open. Breakfast was buffet with the usual breakfast items - fried items , also fruits and yogurts, pastries etc though you could order a few items to be done fresh eg porridge, poached eggs, if you wanted both those would suggest you ordered your porridge then order your eggs when finished otherwise they send them out at the same time. Some other items carried an extra charge eg waffle, eggs benedict. All in all not a bad breakfast. Did not use any of the spa or pool facilities.
Lovely stay
Room was comfortable, warm and secure. My key was presented discreetly at reception. I felt safe and secure during my stay.
2 day break

Gym / spa visit
Gym/ spa big shout out to Mike who keeps this area clean and tidy every shift I see him great atmosphere and amenities. Friendly staff and people who use the facilities.
A great place to stay
It was excellent from start to finish. Reception was friendly , efficient & made us aware of all the benefits we were entitled to as Breakaway Club members. The room was in a quiet location with a nice view over countryside. It was clean, smart & well appointed. We ate in the bar in the evening & were impressed by the helpful service. Food in the bar was great as was breakfast which had a very wide selection. Staff here were also very friendly & helpful.
Excellent stay and play golf trip1!
Stay and play golf trip in March, hotel and staff absolutely brilliant and the trip overall was excellent value. Food really good too. Golf course still a little damp and soft but that is to be expected in March - will be great in a month or so but still enjoyed the golf there too.
Golf break.
Golf course was a great standard, hotel was fabulous with super amenities, the pool & sauna was perfect after a day on the golf course, lovely bedroom, super food. Staff were extremely friendly & professional. Can't add anything more!
One night dinner and breakfast with Breakaway Club.
A one night stay to celebrate a birthday. We chose this hotel as we know it well and it is within driving distance. The Breakaway Club deal is a really valuable addition
Great overnight stay
Great hotel. Very clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our room wasn't ready on time but we were given a drinks voucher for the inconvenience. The sauna and steam room were roomy but if you are thinking about a relaxing spa experience they do allow children in the pool area. I don't know if children are allowed all the time or only at certain times. Liked the pool shower and ice fountain and the fact a water fountain was provided and was stocked with cups. We had also booked a treatment at the spa. It was a relaxing back and face treatment which consisted of a back exfoliation and massage and a facial cleanse, tone and massage. Becky was very professional and the massage pressure was perfect. When we went to dinner the staff were very busy so we had to wait to check in but 2 members of staff acknowledged us to say they would be with us shortly. Service and food were great. We also asked if they had some peppermint tea bags for the room which Poppy got straight away for us. We had to check out before breakfast on Sunday so we had asked if it was possible to have a breakfast bag. I came down at 0615 but there was no-one in the resraurant so I went to reception. I am sorry I didn't get the name of the man on reception as he was very helpful. He said he would try and get something put together for us and ring us when it was ready. He was true to his word and when we checked out we were given a bag each with 3 pastries, a mini muffin, banana and an apple and he told us to choose a chocolate bar and bottle of water to take with us. This was really appreciated.
Staff and Service
Staff are always excellent service is Fantastic! I stay here once a month on Business and it really is a pleasure nothing is to much
Perfect for a couple of away days
Lovely location to visit Iron Bridge and the Telford area. Comfortable room, great food and friendly staff. Quirky lift system, but it works. Perfect for those wishing to play golf, though we didn't. Great views of the gorge from the grounds.
